Phoenix or Phoenic (フェニック, Fenikku) is a Warrior Wheel released by Takara Tomy as part of the Synchrome System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BBG-09 Zero-G Random Booster Vol. 1 Thief Phoenic E230GCF on April 21, 2012, and in Western countries with the release of the SS-09 Thief Phoenix E230GCF Starter Pack in August 2013.
Description
Phoenix is a three-sided Warrior Wheel, made of three "wings", facing the rightward direction. All three wings feature a varying amount of sized heads of a phoenix as well as smooth, leftward pointing feathers. The mostly vertical, straight continuations of the feathers on the top, create a jagged pattern meant for Attack Type combinations.
Phoenix has a lot of contact points and immense Smash Attack potential due to its protrusions, but it is too light by itself to be competitive. All of its contact points are exposed when paired with the Thief Element Wheel, but this only provides a meagre weight of 35.1 grams, which puts it at an immense disadvantage when compared to top-tier attack Fusion Wheels like Flash, Variares and Blitz.
