World Championships (2000) is a tournament featured in the anime/manga series, Beyblade: 2000.
Entry Requirements[]
The World Championships of the Original Series was a standard layout, where the one team that conquered tournaments around the world (i.e. the Bladebreakers) would get the chance to battle the reigning champions; the Demolition Boys. In addition to this, one of the hosts, Voltaire Hiwatari, invited the runner-ups of the previous tournaments to participate in exhibition matches against the Russian team.
Behind the scenes, the World Championships was a front for Boris Balkov and the BIOVOLT corporation to use bit-beasts in his plans to take over the world.
