The World Selection Team (世界選抜チーム Sekai Senbatsu Chīmu) are a team featured in the Original Series, consisting of Beyblade: 2000.

The World Selection Team is made up of Bladers from three different teams competing in the American Tournament. These teams were invited by BBA officials to compete because each is defending Champions. The Asian Champions, Bladebreakers; the North American Champions, All Starz and the South American Champions, Spintensity. Max Tate battled for the Bladebreakers when he outsmarted Tyson and Ray in a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, and whilst Michael wanted to represent the All Starz, Judy chose Emily instead. The Captain of Spintensity, Mario, is the third member of this team.

The World Selection Team was slated to battle the Celebrity Team in a charity battle on the eve of the American Tournament (2000). They ended up winning the battle 2 - 1.
