Z Achilles A4 3Dagger Destroy, known as Z Achilles 3Dagger Destroy (ゼットアキレス・スリーダガー・デストロイ, Zetto Akiresu Surī Dagā Desutoroi) in Japan, is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It was released in Japan on August 11th, 2018 for 2808円 as a part of the Cho-Z Triple Booster Set.

Energy Layer - Z Achilles A4

Main article: Energy Layer - Z Achilles A4
Z Achilles A4 is a Balance Type Energy Layer that features four large blades, creating a high recoil, rectangular shape. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Z Achilles features metal in its design; in this case, concentrated on the wings.

The inclusion of metal improves Attack Potential by increasing the weight of the Layer, granting higher inertia that increases both KO and Burst Attack as well as increasing the Layer's Burst resistance as the high inertia resists teeth skipping, a property that compliments the tall teeth of the Takara Tomy release of Z Achilles. The Layer's Attack potential is further improved as the metal is placed near the point of impact. Due to these factors and the shape of the blades, Z Achilles performs well in Attack Combinations.

Like many other Cho-Z Layers, Z Achilles is unbalanced which increases Burst risk, is liable to break Banking Patterns and drains Stamina. However, these issues can be solved with the use of a Level Chip that fits underneath the Layer.

However, the two blades situated on top and below the Layer are liable to denting and even chipping due to how far they protrude. While not enough to completely break Z Achilles, if one is fearful of possible performance changes or simply dislikes the damaged appearance, they may want to own multiple copies of this Layer.

Forge Disc - 3

Main article: Forge Disc - 3
3, unlike every other odd numbered Core Disc released before it, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Frame. Each side features three small protrusions, akin to Knuckle and 8, which is looped and molded into the shape of a "3".

In addition to the "3" shapes, 3 features a heavy ring in the center. The heavy ring provides 3 with a Centralized Weight Distribution, akin to Yell and Central. This type of weight distribution provides multiple advantages, such as having high KO resistance from the centralized weight, and having high Attack potential due to the higher spin velocity. Furthermore, due to 3's large size and smooth bottom, it has high Life After Death without a Frame. However, the centralized weight provides 3 with numerous drawbacks as well.

Due to the lack of Outward Weight Distribution, Defense and Stamina Combinations using 3 will not be able to maintain spin after heavy impacts, which creates poor spin retention. If used in Attack Combinations, the centralized weight will slow down the movement of Mobile Attack Combinations. Furthermore, 3's light weight of 21.6 grams makes it outclassed by many other Core Discs.

Disc Frame - Dagger

Main article: Disc Frame - Dagger
Dagger is a Frame that features two sharp protrusions on each side, akin to a double sided Hit. Such a shape is meant to increase Burst Attack during Disc-to-Layer contact. However, due to most Burst Performance Tips being of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. While the round shape of the Frame may imply high Life After Death, the protrusions warp the perimeter and reduces Life After Death potential compared to Cross and Glaive. Furthermore, compared to Frames such as Bump and Meteor, Dagger is too light to aid in Attack Combinations.

Performance Tip - Destroy

Main article: Performance Tip - Destroy
Destroy features an eight-pointed star tip, akin to Jaggy, under a free-spinning plate that sits at a standard height.

Due to the tip's shape and diameter, Destroy will create an aggressive movement pattern equivalent to Jaggy with the same moderately controllable movement pattern and speed.

What sets Destroy apart from Jaggy is the free-spinning plate that is meant to stabilize a Beyblade if it is knocked off balance by creating a second point of contact with only minimal Stamina loss due to its free spinning nature. Unlike other Tips with similar gimmicks such as Cycle and Guard, the low placement of Destroy's plate ensures that lock up does not occur, meaning that Destroy's gimmick works as intended.

While Destroy has poor Stamina from the star shaped tip, the smooth perimeter and free-spinning nature of the plate also grants Destroy high Life After Death which can allow Combinations to potentially Out Spin their opponent if a Burst or KO has not been achieved.
