Zenkuro Kurogane, otherwise known as his idol name, Zac the Sunshine, or simply Zac, is a character of Beyblade Burst anime and manga. He is one of the Four Spin Emperors and the leader of the team Superstars. His beyblade is Zeutron Z2 Infinity Weight.

Appearance

Zac has long blond hair with red strips at the top and blue eyes. He wears a white shirt with a yellow stripe down the middle, black pants, shoes, gloves and jacket with a red belt and yellow 'z' shown on it.

Personality

Usually charismatic and charming, Zac is someone who usually seems like all sparkle, but, he does enjoy Beyblading, and being an idol, proven by how he gives effort in both fields, and how he constantly works to be the best, as well as how he is shaken when the idea of having his title of number one blader and idol stripped form him comes to mind. As a senior to most of the cast members of Beyblade, he may do it in ways that seem odd, but, as shown when he helps Valt as Beyblade Mask, it shows he does care about the people around him at least enough to do that, and at least enough to put on shows every chance he gets to make his fans and admirers smile.

Relationships

• Orochi Ginba: Zac is somewhat close to his teammate, Ginba Orochi, enough for Ginba to be able to tell when Zac isn't acting his usual self after he runs into Akira again.
• Valt Aoi: Zac respects Valt as a blader, and has honest interest in him as a fellow blader. He makes it apparent he wants to fight Valt by mentioning in episode 47 that Valt should first look out for him before even thinking about fighting anyone else. He has also dubbed Valt "Little Spark" (Kirakira-kun), and "Little Blaze" (Giragira-kun).
• Akira Yamabuki: Zac sees Akira Yamabuki as a serious opponent come their meeting at the Nationals in the anime of Beyblade Burst, and though he seems upset over Akira's appearance, he pulls himself together to seriously take Akira on, and promises to always beat him, no matter how many times Akira comes back to challenge him for his spotlight.

Trivia

• When he had his debut in the 22nd episode of Beyblade Burst's anime, Rantaro Kiyama introduces Zac to Valt Aoi, and, during this introduction, he adds that Zac was older than them (enough that it must be apparent to mention it), though the specific age is never said.
  • Rantaro also mentions that Zac is in a lot of variety shows, and has acting roles, as well.
