Zeutron Z2 Infinity Weight, known as Zillion Zeus Infinity Weight (ジリオンゼウス・インフィニティ・ウエイト, Jirion Zeusu Infiniti Ueito) in Japan, is a Stamina Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It was released as a Starter in Japan on September 17th, 2016 for 1300円 and was later released in western countries as a Starter Pack.
Energy Layer - Zeutron Z2

Zeutron Z2 is a Stamina Type Energy Layer that bears a slight elliptical shape, two "Z"s on either side and two faces on either side, meant to represent its Japanese namesake: Zeus, the god of thunder in Greek Mythology. Unlike most Layers of the Dual Layer System, Zeutron Z2 features a gimmick; it features two metal balls on tracks akin to the GB145 Spin Track from Metal Fight Beyblade.
Due to centrifugal force, the metal balls move farther towards the edge of the Layer's tracks. In theory, this is meant to increase its Outward Weight Distribution and Flywheel Effect, which increases Stamina. However in practice, the weight of the distance traveled by the metal balls is too small to create a significant effect.
The six blades of its perimeter are placed symmetrically, four of which are sloped. This means that half of the time, the pointed front and back edges will make contact with the opponent's Layer. The relatively heavy weight of the large blades with the elliptical shape creates high Outward Weight Distribution which grants high Stamina retention and Burst Resistance, capable of compensating for the average teeth of the Takara Tomy release of Zillion Zeus. While this is somewhat reduced by the recoil inherent in elliptical shapes, the Layer's teeth are capable of compensating for this, and the recoil Zillion Zeus creates grants Attack potential, making it an excellent Layer for Balance Combinations.
However, the impact on the back edges has lead to numerous reported cases of breaks with no mold variations released to solve that problem. As such it is recommended to own multiple copies of this Layer and to be prepared to replace it.
Forge Disc - Infinity

Infinity features a round, thick, sharp edged and warped design meant to recreate the look of a Mobius Strip. Like Ring, almost all of Infinity's weight is focused on the perimeter creating a high Outward Weight Distribution and Flywheel Effect for Stamina Combinations and the round design allows for some Life After Death. However, like Ring, the high Outward Weight Distribution increases the risk of Bursts as the Disc and Performance Tip will resist changes in spin speed while the Layer is more likely to stop, leading to teeth skipping and Bursts.
Performance Tip - Weight
Main article: Performance Tip - Weight
Weight features a ball shaped tip made of metal, akin to Metal Fight Beyblade's Metal Ball Performance Tip, surrounded by a plastic ridge.
Like Metal Ball, the metal tip is meant to decrease friction with the stadium floor and improve stability and KO resistance by lowering the center of balance with its weight and the plastic ridge is meant to provide Life After Death with its smooth perimeter.
In practice however, the shape and diameter of the ball creates a semi-aggressive movement pattern early in battle if hard launched, bringing the Beyblade close to the Tornado Ridge. Due to the low friction of the metal, a Beyblade in this state becomes much easier to KO. A secondary weakness is the plastic ridge, its low positioning means that it is easy for it to contact the stadium floor which exacerbates the aforementioned issue and drains Stamina.
While Weight's sheer weight can improve KO Defense, it's mitigated by the low friction of metal and rarity of KOs in the Burst metagame.
- Zeutron Z2's Japanese name, Zillion Zeus, is based from "zillion", a fictitious, indefinitely large number, and Zeus, the Greek god of thunder and king of all the gods in Greek mythology.
- In the manga, the "Gold God" version of this Beyblade is used by Valt Aoi for a Beybattle against Count Night.
- Even with so many disadvantages, Zeutron Z2 was one of the few beys that could match up against Luinor L2 Nine Spiral, in terms of their stock combos.
